Campus Life

INTERNET FACILITY

Our college is fully equipped with round-the-clock internet access at a speed of 1000 Mbps (1:1) thanks to a collaboration with VAINAVI networks. The node facility is provided over the entire campus, including the hostels. Round-the-clock OFC internet access is accessible across the campus, including the hostels. All computer laboratories are connected to the internet via Manageable Switches (VLAN). The high-end computing nodes are in the MRCE network, allowing multiple users to access any of the servers at the same time, as well as other users from their department via the campus network. MRCE's facilities can be accessed by about 1000 people at the same time from their separate departments. Since all of the computer systems at MRCE are linked in a switched fibre optic campus network, one can access any resource from any node in the campus. A variety of software is also available for the students and the users.
